"Mrs. General Custer" - Biographer

I've just e-mailed a note to Mrs. Custer's biographer, Professor Leckie, asking for help finding one of the lecture texts (or any other material related to Libbie's visit to Vermont).

Reminder: We are meeting at the Athenaeum on Friday 5/14 at 8:30 a.m. to look though bound copies of the Caledonian-Record from our period.

  1. from Prof. Shirley Leckie, 5/13/10:

Let me see what I can find. I will have to go through boxes to find her notes on her travels on the lecture circuit. I can tell you right now that I wish I did have the text of her lectures. So far I do not. What I have found has been largely her notes on being put up in homes or her transportation to a place and her notes on the audiences responses to her presentations.

She did not put a year in her diaries of these trips so I had to try to guess in many cases.
